Natsumi, Miyuki, and Shouji meet at Osyo's shrine and travel to the country to deliver a special scroll to Osyo's mother. After accepting an invitation to stay for lunch, Miyuki assists with kitchen preparations while Natsumi and Shouji shop for groceries. Shouji shows Natsumi a tombstone near the shore, reminiscing about a friend they hiked with in the mountains. Rain begins to fall after they purchase produce from a peddler, leaving them sheltered and stranded. The two share a bonding moment during the storm. Later, the trio enjoys dinner with the mother before returning to the precinct.
