The group travels toward Puna, Zia's home village, but their path is obstructed by a pass containing Pizarro's fortress, which stands above an underground temple. They infiltrate the structure and meet Pasha, an elderly priest who assists their journey. However, Pizarro lays a trap for them. Pasha discloses a secret exit involving a puzzle room. Solving the puzzle triggers a pillar of ice to melt, causing the temple and the fortress above it to collapse. In the ensuing chaos, the children lose contact with Mendoza and his men. The episode also features a mini-documentary segment focusing on Incan architecture.
