Ep. 7: Ataru discovers a pool youkai and disposes of a bathtub creature while Cherry is mistaken for a pet.

Ataru encounters a water-dwelling youkai hiding in a Mendou family hotel pool while spending time with Lum, Shinobu, Shutarou, Cherry, and Sakura. After Shutarou expels the creature, it seeks a new residence. In the second segment, Ataru’s mother tasks him with removing a water-youkai from their bathtub before he heads to the beach to meet Lum, Shinobu, and Shutarou. At the beach, Sakura is on a date with her fiancé, unaware they are being watched. Simultaneously, a boy attempts to rehome his pet Pochi, whom his mother ordered him to discard. He carries the animal in a box but eventually abandons it, only for the creature to be revealed as Cherry. Later, Ataru receives a postcard from the water-youkai, who has been adopted by the boy.
