Ep. 5: Sakura becomes nurse causing glove chaos while Ataru faces fake love letter scheme and clan rivalry news
Sakura takes a job as the school nurse, sparking excitement among the male students. When physical education instructors request an exorcism for cursed boxing gloves, Cherry and Kotetsu-Neko accidentally launch one at Lum. Ataru ends up wearing both gloves, suffering greatly while Lum watches with amusement. In a separate incident, Shutarou’s classmates envy the attention he receives from female admirers. They attempt to embarrass him by having Ataru boast about a forged love letter. Ataru wagers his class president candidacy on the letter’s authenticity. The conspirators panic and try to reverse their plan, but it fails. Lum discovers the deception and, feeling ignored by Ataru, intends to teach him a lesson despite her sympathy. She then receives a communication from her father regarding an impending confrontation with a rival clan.
