Ep. 8: Lum joins Ataru's class causing danger while Ran returns for revenge at a deceptive farewell party.

Lum becomes a transfer student in Ataru's class, nearly killing him with a choking incident. During the sports festival, Ataru flirts with Ran, a childhood friend who transferred to the adjacent class to seek revenge over a past romantic rivalry. Later, a small robot resembling Ran informs Lum that Ran has abandoned her vengeance and is returning to her home planet. She invites both Lum and Ataru to a farewell party, unaware that Ataru does not know Ran is an alien. The invitation proves to be a trap designed to replace Ataru with a simulacrum. The following day at school, Ran reappears and reiterates her desire for revenge. Meanwhile, on an alien world, a terrifying creature roars while clutching a doll that looks like Lum.
