Sep 4, 1999Van resides in a small village on Planet Zi, aspiring to become a skilled Zoid pilot like his father, who sacrificed himself to protect the community. After being attacked by desert bandits, Van seeks shelter in some ruins where he encounters an organoid named Zeke. Zeke possesses the unique ability to revive and merge with other Zoids. Van utilizes this power to restore a Shield Liger, which he employs to defeat the attackers. Upon returning to the ruins, he finds a young girl with amnesia trapped inside a pod. Accompanied by his newly acquired Zoids and the enigmatic girl, Van embarks on a journey to uncover her identity while continuing his pursuit of becoming a great Zoid pilot.

Sep 11, 1999Van brings Zeke and the amnesiac Fiona to his hometown, revealing their origins from pods to his sister Maria and the locals. Inside, they find a diary from a soldier stationed there fifty years prior, revealing the Gordos was abandoned due to a leg injury, which Van attempts to repair. Irvine reappears to capture Zeke and attacks the group, but retreats when the Gordos defends the Shield Liger. During their exploration, Van and Fiona uncover a tablet with mysterious writing. Fiona recalls the term 'Zoid Eve,' prompting the pair to leave the ruins and search for more information about this enigmatic concept.

Sep 25, 1999Following a dispute where Fiona discards the group's water supply, Van and Fiona reach a settlement frequently raided by familiar bandits. The locals have engaged Irvine as a defender, prompting Van to demonstrate his own combat abilities when the attackers strike. Although heavily outnumbered, Van eliminates the majority of the bandits by detonating an aquifer. Ultimately, however, he requires Irvine's assistance to survive the encounter.

Oct 2, 1999Following repairs to the Shield Liger, the group encounters Moonbay, whose Gustav carries heavy Imperial arms. After a brief skirmish with sleeper Guysacks, they camp at an ancient fortress. Van, Fiona, and Zeke go swimming and discover Zoid remains, prompting Irvine to retrieve his electromagnetic whip. More sleeper Guysacks attack, revealing a trap where earlier foes were decoys. A fierce battle ensues against a battalion. Moonbay lures half the enemies away, then jettisons her cargo to detonate the Imperial ammunition, destroying the rest. She returns to Van, requesting him as her protector.
6EP 6Van and Irvine escape Helic Republic soldiers after merging with Zeke and Liger.
Oct 9, 1999Van and his companions are mistaken for Imperials by Helic Republic soldiers following an explosion and are imprisoned. Irvine secretly frees them, prompting Van to retrieve their Zoids while leaving the girls behind. After Zeke and Liger merge, they flee the base under fire from Petras units. Cornered in a canyon, Van discovers their weapons have been removed and faces Irvine’s criticism. To escape, Van drives the Liger up the canyon walls, gaining height to clear the gap and defeat two pursuers. He then targets Captain Herman’s Petra. Irvine coordinates with the Command Wolf to launch the Liger for a decisive strike. The Republican pilots eject, and Herman acknowledges Van’s skill. Meanwhile, Major Schubaltz prepares an Imperial assault on the Republicans at Red River while Irvine scouts the area.
7EP 7Van and Zeke seek to rescue Moonbay and Fiona while Major Schubaltz plans a false flag attack.
Oct 16, 1999After defeating the captain, Van and Zeke attempt to rescue Moonbay and Fiona, who reveal they are working for the Republic. They are tasked with detonating explosives at Fire Bridge. Meanwhile, Major Schubaltz and Minister Prozan discuss the rebel attack, with Schubaltz refusing to strike first. At the battlefield, Republic Godos and Guysacks face Imperial Molgas commanded by Schubaltz. Prozan orders soldier Marcus to launch a false flag attack for a promotion. Marcus instructs Rosso to use captured Pteras to initiate the battle. Following the attack, Van receives orders to destroy Fire Bridge due to failed explosives and lost contact with the girls. Irvine assists Van in crossing the River gorge. Van breaches Imperial lines, destroys the bridge, and reaches the Republican side.
8EP 8The gang seeks Zoid Eve clues in the capital while facing Rosso's ambush.
Oct 23, 1999After Red River, the group heads to the Republican Capital hoping to find Zoid Eve. Captain Herman provides a letter of introduction before they depart. Irvine attempts to take Zeke but fails. Moonbay and others visit a village for supplies. Irvine, Fiona, and Zeke become separated from Van. Fiona buys fruit, making Irvine pay. Van and Moonbay are pursued by Rosso's gang through the village and captured. Irvine hears a gunshot and finds them tied to the Shield Liger's foot. Fiona tries to help but is also caught. Irvine frees Van and Moonbay. Van and Zeke board the Shield Liger. Rosso attacks in the Red Horn. Van uses the Shield Liger to block the assault and rams the enemy. The Imperial Army arrives, forcing the group to leave. Rosso surrenders after ordering his gang to escape. He warns Van not to be caught after defeating the Desert Alcavaleno Gang.
9EP 9Van and Irvine battle rare-hertz effects while Zeke loses control of his fused Zoid.
Oct 30, 1999Van and his group escape the Imperial Army, but their Zoids malfunction due to rare-hertz pulses in the Valley of the Rare Hertz. These waves cause violent behavior, evidenced by a destroyed Godos. After equipping pulse guards, Zeke becomes possessed by the energy, fusing with the Shield Liger and attacking the Gustav and Command Wolf. Moonbay repairs the damaged Command Wolf, which suffers a 30% performance drop. Van pursues the rogue Shield Liger up a cliff, falling and injuring himself before Fiona tends to his wounds. He eventually locates Zeke, who attempts to kill him. Irvine traps the fused Zoid against a cliff face, allowing Van to chase Zeke on a hover board. Following a brief organoid versus boy duel, Zeke falls, and Van catches him. Zeke recognizes Van as a true friend and returns to normal.
10EP 10Van and Irvine seek a retired scientist for Zoid Eve clues but face his eccentric demands and a snow-making machine.
Nov 6, 1999After restoring Zeke, Van and Irvine visit a former Republican Army scientist to find information about Zoid Eve. They encounter Dr. D, who freezes a man in ice and forces the pair to perform household chores in exchange for answers. He tricks Irvine into a combat simulation involving his grandson on a bike, then sends them on a dangerous mission to a supply base guarded by sleeper Guysacks. Dr. D abandons them after the raid and denies knowing about Zoid Eve. A sleeper Guysack follows them, destroying Dr. D’s home before Moonbay intervenes. Later, Van and Irvine assist the doctor in building a machine to make it snow, fulfilling his dream. Although the machine appears inactive, snow begins to fall, leaving the group to discuss the strange events involving Dr. D, Fiona, Moonbay, and Zeke.
11EP 11Van and companions face treacherous Mount Iselina while Viola and Jarro plot revenge against them.
Nov 13, 1999Van leads his group through the dangerous Mount Iselina, where Irvine and Fiona become separated from the main party in the fog. Van shares the Shadow Monster legend with Moonbay before a creature appears, revealing itself as a Godos piloted by Rosa. Viola and Jarro target the colony in the mountain's center, luring Van into a gorge to ambush him. Van defeats Jarro’s Pteras pilot using a cliff-to-cliff jump maneuver, then teams with Rosa to subdue Viola. During a conversation, Van discovers that Viola is Rosa’s sister. He chooses to protect Viola’s secret and departs with his friends, leaving the conflict unresolved.

Nov 20, 1999After escaping Mount Iselina, Van and his companions enter Republican Territory, passing through a graveyard containing 30 Guysacks. Soldiers attempt to arrest the group due to a mistaken identity, leading to Van and Fiona’s escape while Irvine, Moonbay, and Zeke are captured. A boy named Raven intervenes, saving them from additional Republican forces. Fiona, who is the same age as Van, grabs Raven as they flee. Moonbay and Irvine are eventually released following a misunderstanding, and Major Ford briefs them on a recent incident involving a Saber Fang and a winged black organoid. Raven guides Van and Fiona to water, but Irvine warns Van about the boy’s true nature. When a battalion of Godos arrives, Raven defeats them effortlessly. Van challenges Raven to a fight but is soundly defeated, leaving him with bruised pride as Raven departs.
13EP 13Van faces Raven in a rematch while Imperial forces advance on Chronos Fortress.
Nov 27, 1999Following his defeat, Van waits for Raven while villagers warn of the Imperial Army. Major Marcus and Major Schubaltz coordinate separate strikes on Chronos Fortress and Mount Osa Base. Irvine discovers the Republican Army’s bold strategy despite their cornered position. Van struggles to unlock the Shield Liger’s full potential, resisting Moonbay and Fiona’s pleas to join the fight. Raven explains a unified strategy to Schubaltz to force a ceasefire, then departs with Saber Fang and Shadow. Van challenges Raven to a rematch, with Irvine standing by. Although Van initially gains control, Raven dismantles the Shield Liger’s dual-gun and defeats Irvine. Van charges, striking Raven’s Saber, but Raven fuses with Shadow and delivers a decisive blow, severely injuring Zeke. Concurrently, the Chronos Fortress is destroyed along with part of Marcus’s unit.
14EP 14Zeke Injured, Van Seeks Zoid Magnite While Irvine Confronts Raven
Dec 4, 1999After Van loses to Raven, Zeke suffers severe injuries. Colonel Krueger estimates a 30-hour delay for the enemy advance and orders Major Ford of the Chronos Unit to prepare a counter-attack at Mount Osa Base. Van seeks medical aid in a deserted village, where Dr. D reveals that Zeke requires a bright blue Zoid Magnite rock from Mount Osa. Irvine travels to the Republican Base to arm himself with multiple missile diffusion systems. Van and Moonbay brave the Mount Osa Volcano to retrieve the rock, escaping narrowly. Simultaneously, Irvine engages Raven and his Saber Fang using the missile system. Van secures the rock, but Raven fuses with his organoid to defeat Irvine. Meanwhile, combined Schubaltz and Marcus unit forces proceed toward Mount Osa Base.
15EP 15Zeke recovers while Imperial forces face delays and Colonel Krueger deploys the ZG.
Dec 11, 1999After Van revives Zeke with the Zoid Magnite, the Imperial unit faces a severe two-hour delay caused by a rock avalanche. Major Schubaltz suspects Colonel Krueger orchestrated the setback, which included heavy losses at the Chronos Fortress. While rain leaks into their shelter, Krueger hands command of Mt. Osa base to Major Ford and pilots the ZG, which retains firepower equal to twelve Zoids at fifty percent capacity. Irvine infiltrates the base to observe Imperial plans. During the ensuing battle, Major Schubaltz destroys sleeper Guysacks with the Iron Kong’s 70mm chain guns. Captain Herman arrives with four Pteras from Red River Base. Van rushes to Mount Osa in the Shield Liger to rescue Irvine, discovering he can activate the Liger’s power independently. Herman takes control of the ZG, engaging the Imperial Army until Major Schubaltz retreats, prompting Herman to land the Gojulas.
16EP 16Van helps an Imperial soldier in New Helic City while an iceberg approaches the city.
Dec 18, 1999Irvine, Moonbay, Fiona, Van, and Zeke watch a parade in New Helic City. Van and Zeke help an Imperial soldier escape Republican harassment, causing the soldier to drop a photo. After Van informs the group, Republican guards arrive and accuse him of espionage. Irvine rescues them with a smoke bomb, but their jeep is disabled. A man in a frog mask, revealed to be Dr. D, leads them through sewers to an ancient ruins institute. They find a stone pillar, but Fiona suffers a headache. Republican soldiers capture them, but the President, Camford, releases them after recognizing Dr. D. The Imperial soldier steals a Command Wolf and attacks Republic Zoids. Van confronts the terrified soldier, who flees. Meanwhile, Hermann investigates an iceberg with Pteras units, only to be shot down by missiles launched from an Imperial submarine commanded by Prozen.
17EP 17Van and Irvine steal a Pteras to rescue Captain Herman from Imperial forces
Dec 25, 1999As the Imperial Army advances, Captain Herman swims to warn his side, prompting Lieutenant O'Connell to offer a reward for his rescue. Van, Moonbay, Irvine, and Fiona steal a Pteras from a base to save him. Meanwhile, Admiral Prozen reports to King Zeppelin about striking the rebels. After Dr. D captures Herman, Van and Irvine intervene to free him. Herman urges them to alert Mount Osa Base about the incoming attack. Irvine warns Major Ford to retreat the Gojulas to the Helic capital, revealing the Imperial troops were distracting the Rebels and ZG. Moonbay reaches Mount Osa Base, while Van engages Raven in a Zoid battle before the Imperial Army attacks, forcing Van to flee.
