Oshare Kozou wa Hanamaru

A 14-year-old junior high student, Kotobuki-chan, becomes infatuated with Hodaka-san, a 26-year-old clothing store owner she spots while shopping with friends. She frequently visits a nearby café to observe him working. One day, Hodaka and two friends sit at her table after the café is full. To hide her age, Kotobuki claims to be 20 and in college. When the men joke about choosing a girlfriend, she picks Hodaka, and they humorously label her as his girlfriend. She begins spending more time at the store, sometimes working there while maintaining her false identity. Eventually, the truth comes out, causing tension between them. The story explores whether their relationship can endure given the significant age gap and Kotobuki’s status as a student.
