Utakata no Uroko

A singer-songwriter named Tetsuta loses his ability to sing following throat surgery just before his major debut. After declining a request from a friend to write a song, he visits the beach and meets Nagi, a young man who works at a family restaurant. Nagi, described as enigmatic, invites Tetsuta to the restaurant and listens to his concerns, leading to Tetsuta spending the night there. Impressed by Nagi’s singing, Tetsuta experiences a powerful emotional reaction. It is the first time he feels that someone else should perform the songs he has written.
