Binbou Shimai Monogatari

Two sisters, Kyo and Asu, live together after their mother's death and their father's disappearance due to gambling. Kyo, 15, is a secondary school student who works part-time to support them, while Asu, 9, handles household duties and manages their finances. They face hardships but remain positive, relying on each other for strength. Kyo benefits from a recent legal change that allows her to balance school and work. Their lives are also supported by kind neighbors, including a novelist and a public bath worker who look out for them. Despite challenges, the sisters find comfort in their bond.
