In the Bottomless City, buildings rise as high and go down as deep as is humanly possible. Tetsuro and Maetel check into their hotel there. But, it seems it to be best to not use the elevator. But, Tetsuro becomes worried when someone named Kezaluna calls out to Maetel, so he uses the elevator to search for her.
