Hitagi and Koyomi eat lunch together, during which she indirectly asks him on a date. He arrives late, but she remains unfazed. While her father drives them, Hitagi teases Koyomi, enjoying his discomfort. She then leaves him with her father, who expresses concern about his limited presence in her life and requests that Koyomi look after her. Hitagi returns to blindfold Koyomi and leads him to a spot with a blanket on the ground. They lie down, and she declares that the stars are all she can offer him. She confesses her love, and Koyomi returns the feeling. The episode concludes with her asking for a kiss in the same roundabout manner she used to ask him out earlier.
