Ep. 32: Candy faces isolation and deception while Klint discovers a new refuge in the woods
Aired on May 27, 1977

32
Sister Gray reprimands Candy for being late, and her attempt to hide using Klint's collar fails when Sister Margaret demands it. Klint flees to the woods and finds a giant tree. In her room, Candy meets neighbor Patricia O'Brien, who gives her a tour of the library and recreational hall. However, after Eliza publicly labels Candy as the Barn Princess and Anthony's murderer, Patricia shuns her and intentionally provides incorrect information about morning attire. Candy is forced to wear a white dress to prayer while others wear black. Terry also causes a disturbance during the service. Later, a misleading note leads Candy astray on the school grounds until Klint appears and shows her his new home.
