Ep. 38: Candy lands in Terry's room and discovers his connection to actress Eleanor Baker
Aired on July 8, 1977

38
Candy mistakenly enters Terry’s room after Archibald’s balcony beacon fails, finding a photo of Terry’s mother, Broadway actress Eleanor Baker. Terry angrily destroys the image and orders her to leave. She then visits Archibald and Alistear, who admire Eleanor and provide a picture of Anthony. Terry later regrets his actions, recalling his illegitimate birth and failed trip to New York to meet his mother. Distraught, he rides his white horse into the woods. Candy pursues him, trips on the stairs, and is carried inside by Terry for medical care. She calls for Anthony, who retreats while Sister Margaret fetches Sister Gray to treat her. Terry wonders about Anthony’s identity as the incident concludes.
