Cookie, attempting to stow away for the tenth time, is caught due to his carelessness. Captain Nieven orders a search, leading sailors to throw Cookie overboard as punishment. Candy, hiding downstairs, overhears this and rescues him. Her authoritative behavior makes the crew believe she is the Captain's daughter. As she revives Cookie, Captain Nieven confronts the two fifteen-year-olds. Unimpressed by their presence, he questions Candy, who refuses to provide information. Consequently, the Captain decides to hand them over to a passing boat from the same company bound for the UK for repatriation, ignoring their pleas for mercy.
