Ep. 62: Candy awaits nursing school news while Jimmy organizes a succession contest among the orphans.

Candy anxiously waits for a letter from Merry Jane Nursing School while Jimmy organizes a competition to determine who will become second in command after Candy leaves to live with Mr. Cartwright as his adoptive son. John, the best tree climber among the other orphans, instructs the group to be happy for Candy despite their reluctance. When Matthew the mailman delivers positive news from the nursing school, Candy decides not to postpone her departure. She must leave Klint behind, who makes several attempts to stop her. Jimmy gives the other orphans a ride to the train station where they say their goodbyes and promise to take care of Klint. The raccoon breaks loose and races after the rapidly accelerating train in a desperate but unsuccessful bid to catch up with her.
