Bell struggles in physical education and resorts to using magic to impress Hinata, resulting in an ankle injury. Hinata carries her to the nurse's office, where he kisses her foot and then her entire body before Sakura interrupts. Later, Hinata asks Sakura to assist Bell with shopping for clothes and supplies. During this time, Sakura inquires about Bell's feelings for Hinata, to which Bell admits she fell in love after he protected her from human bullies. After shopping concludes and Sakura departs, Hinata takes Bell to a scenic lake to lift her spirits. He kisses her cheek, and as they lean in for a kiss on the lips, they are forced to dodge an energy blast fired by teammates Cecile and Mei, who have arrived to take Bell home.
