The DATS team reaches the Holy Capital but is swiftly captured and sentenced to execution in an arena. During this crisis, they encounter an old acquaintance believed to be missing. Masaru reveals his DNA, prompting the Digimon to free them upon recognizing him as Suguru Daimon's son, a figure known for past heroic deeds. However, the relief is brief as a Gizmon squad raids the city. The impending catastrophe is averted by the timely arrival of Ikuto and Falcomon, who return accompanied by new allies to help defend the location.
