Returning to his own era, Trunks resolves to conclude the conflict permanently. He locates Androids 17 and 18, defeating them with ease. Subsequently, the Imperfect Cell attempts a surprise attack, but Trunks reacts swiftly, overpowering him due to his superior strength. With these threats eliminated, the danger finally ceases. In a separate development, Goku and King Kai commence their journey toward the Otherworld, marking a shift in their respective paths as the immediate crisis is resolved by Trunks' decisive actions.
