Consumed by guilt regarding Melissa's health, Sousuke harshly tells Kaname she is a burden. Kurz overhears this and strikes Sousuke, warning that such behavior leads to bad husbandry. Realizing his error, Sousuke seeks Kaname to apologize. Meanwhile, SRT traitors assist Gauron in seizing control of the Tuatha de Danaan AI using a special program. Gauron then takes Kaname, Tessa, and the command crew hostage, escalating the crisis within the vessel.
