Ep. 14: Miaka is rescued from bandits and learns Genrou summons a phantom Tamahome to find Tasuki

Miaka is kidnapped by bandits led by Eiken, who attempts to assault her before Hotohori and Nuriko intervene. They torture Eiken to reveal that Tasuki is among them, but Miaka is abducted by Genrou, who escapes using talismans that summon phantom wolves. Genrou takes Miaka to a hidden location where he meets his friend Kouji. Miaka learns Genrou was destined to lead the bandits and promises assistance in exchange for help finding Tasuki. After fighting other bandits, Tamahome appears to aid them. Genrou assumes leadership and obtains a magical fire-emitting fan. Miaka approaches Tamahome, only for him to vanish, revealing he was a phantom summoned by a talisman bearing her own writing.
