Ep. 15: The trio seeks resurrection powers in Choko while Miaka falls ill with a deadly fever.

Before departing, Miaka, Hotohori, and Nuriko request Tasuki, but Eiken and Genrou claim he is dead. A bandit reveals rumors of a resurrection expert in Choko, prompting the trio to travel there. They meet Shouka, who confirms her power but refuses to leave her city. As they attempt to bring Tasuki’s body to her, Miaka contracts a severe fever. Genrou reappears as Tasuki, saving them from attacking corpses. In Kutou, Yui learns of Miaka’s condition and suppresses her distress. Miaka’s health declines rapidly, and she collapses after being denied help by a local man. Shouka explains that resurrection is her only ability, meaning Miaka must die to be healed. Hotohori prepares to end Miaka’s life to save her.
