Ep. 3: The group rescues Ko Reishun and recruits Shu Eian while Mayo confronts her fading existence.
The party encounters Ko Reishun in a small town, only for her to be seized by a demon. Taka defeats the creature with a holy sword, but its upper half escapes to a lake, where the group battles and vanquishes a fake Seiryuu. Recognizing Reishun as the reborn Nuriko, they invite her to join their journey to the capital. Meanwhile, in Konan, Mayo deceives Reizeitei about Miaki and Hotohori, prompting him to question her worthiness. Contacted by her friend Saori via a medium, Mayo discovers she lacks a reflection and is becoming transparent. After Yotaigo reveals the truth about her past with Hotohori, Mayo apologizes for her deceit. Later, the group meets Shu Eian at a grave, identifying him as Hotohori’s reincarnation and recruiting him. As they depart, they fend off a fake Suzaku attack by deploying a decoy Eian.
