Ep. 16: Sarah seeks perfumer Koumoto for fragrance while Akiyoshi steals an incense burner from him.
Fujita tasks Sarah with collecting a debt from actress Akiyoshi Masako, who is preparing to play Yang Guifei. Sarah visits perfumer Jean-Paul Koumoto to purchase body fragrance pills and incense, drawing his attention due to her scent. Koumoto asks her to wear his creations. Meanwhile, Akiyoshi offers Fujita a stolen incense burner from Koumoto, which he refuses. She crushes the item and forces Fujita to repair it. Koumoto crafts an effective fragrance pill for Sarah. Upon discovering the theft, he retrieves the burner from Fujita. However, when Koumoto attempts to drug Sarah, the burner releases wasabi scent planted by Fujita, thwarting his advances. Sarah escapes and encounters Akiyoshi, who intends to kill her but becomes entranced by her fragrance and uses it for her acting role.
