Ep. 38: Shido attends Madoka's recital after defeating Kirihito with Ban and Ginji's help

Ginji and Ban wash dishes after losing a shogi bet to Natsumi. Shido meets Hevn, who buys him a tuxedo for Madoka's evening recital. A thief holding a boy hostage appears, prompting Shido to attack with crows. Madoka practices, wondering if Shido will attend. Shido faces Kirihito and his henchmen, who command wasps. Kirihito holds Hevn hostage and attacks with spiders. Ban saves Hevn while Ginji saves Shido. Shido reveals Kirihito is a former mafia boss seeking to prove insect masters superior to beast masters. Kirihito uses spiderweb silk and spiders, but Shido commands mice to destroy them. Ban and Ginji help defeat Kirihito. Ban stops Shido from killing him, reminding him of the recital. Ban has Himiko erase Kirihito's memories for twenty-four hours. Shido realizes the recital ended and finds Madoka waiting at the stage. He catches her as she lands in his arms. Madoka plays a piece for Shido, who reflects deeply on her.
