Ban, Ginji, and Himiko are hired by Yuuichiro and Maki Nagano to recover their stolen infant, suspected to be taken by Yuuichiro’s father, Takao Kiyokawa. Kiyokawa orchestrated the kidnapping to raise the child as his heir, disapproving of the marriage due to Maki’s lower financial status. The team infiltrates Kiyokawa’s estate, with Himiko transporting the baby while Ban and Ginji block pursuing guards. When guards use a helicopter to bypass them, Himiko hides in the woods, triggering a flashback to her past with Yamato. It is revealed that Himiko and Yamato are Last Children cursed with insanity. Yamato asks Ban to end his life before the curse takes over. The trio returns to the Honky Tonk cafe, only to find Yuuichiro negotiating with Kiyokawa. Kiyokawa admits the kidnapping was a scheme to reunite the family. The episode concludes with Himiko unaware of Yamato’s death, while Ban vows to honor his promise using Yamato’s lighter.
