Reinhard informs the galaxy about the failure of Lennenkanpt and accuses the Alliance government of betraying Yang and Lennenkanpt. He declares that the spirit of the Treaty of Barlat has been violated, leaving force as the only solution. Yang understands he can no longer ally with the Alliance government. Bucock returns from retirement. The following day, Reinhard announces the fleet organization for the second Ragnarok operation. Alliance diplomat Odets urgently enters Imperial territory to request a ceasefire.
