At the summit of Mount Hakurei, Kagura attacks Miroku and Sango, defeating Sango with Wind Gust. Miroku counters by using Wind Tunnel to vacuum the demons, enduring the Saimyoushou poison. Meanwhile, Jakotsu delivers a Shikon Jewel shard to Bankotsu, who expresses gratitude. Inuyasha enters the mountain barrier to locate his friends but encounters Renkotsu. The barrier purifies Inuyasha, reverting him to human form. Simultaneously, the barrier purifies Miroku and Sango, allowing them to escape the mountain safely.
