Erecpyle awakens in a hospital to learn that his remaining testicle was removed after his fight with Kon, forcing him to take indefinite leave from his duties. Concurrently, a small blue-furred animal crosses the path of the princess and her entourage. Kon attempts to frighten the creature away because of a past incident involving another pet, but his efforts fail. Consequently, the animal is accepted into the traveling party. This sequence mirrors the start of the previous episode, focusing on Erecpyle's medical aftermath and the unexpected addition of the new companion to the group's journey.
