Ep. 18: Judau infiltrates Axis while Glemy discusses Earth plans and Ple reveals her Newtype nature.
Judau conceals his core fighter within a dummy meteor to enter Axis, where Glemy consults Haman regarding Earth deployment. The Qubeley Mk II pilot is identified as Elpeo Ple, a Newtype who detects Judau and approaches him affectionately rather than capturing him. Meanwhile, Beecha and Mondo, dissatisfied with their treatment, plan to return to the Argama by rescuing Leina to reconcile with the crew. Leina has actually escaped Glemy and joined Beecha and Mondo, but their attempted mobile suit escape fails due to a missing hatch. Judau and Ple reach Haman’s palace, where her intense Newtype presence disturbs him. He leaves Ple to find Leina alone but is confronted by Haman. Escaping via Beecha’s distraction, Judau pursues a departing ship, mistakenly believing Leina is aboard. Ple intercepts him in the Qubeley, revealing Leina remains in Axis, but is halted by Iino. Judau scolds Ple, forms the ZZ to stop her, and returns to Axis for another rescue attempt.
