Ep. 19: Lupin and Jigen face a deadly sniper challenge orchestrated by a wealthy eccentric in a ruined city.

Lupin accepts a life-or-death chess invitation from his acquaintance, the millionaire Zylberstein, who hires the notorious sniper Mirage to assassinate him during the match. Mirage, formerly Jigen's partner, engages in a lethal game of hide-and-snipe with Jigen within a desolate mountain city. The confrontation concludes when Jigen damages Mirage's rifle, causing a ricochet that fatally wounds Zylberstein. Lupin and Jigen subsequently learn that the sniper is actually Mirage's daughter, who accepted the dangerous contract to fund her ill mother's hospital transfer. Lupin bequeaths the monetary prize Zylberstein had set aside to the daughter, while Jigen advises her against continuing her career as a mercenary.
