Aired on February 20, 2019

Mei struggles with the choice between staying with Ogai or returning to the present. She helps Shunso locate his missing black cat in a park, where they are pursued by feral pigeons to Shinobazu Pond. Kyouka explains that the dragon goddess Shirayuki escaped his tragic play, Dragon Pond, and manifested as a spirit there. Ogai reminds Mei of her obligation to find the cat. When Gorou attacks Shirayuki, she reveals a monstrous form. Mei dives into the pond to stop the destruction and is rescued by Ogai. Shirayuki returns to Kyouka after an embrace. The next morning, Mei wakes up sore at the mansion, realizing Kyouka's play will be ready next month.
