Victims were found in their cars before the attack. Sonoko wears platform boots while heading to the restroom, unaware the killer is following. Conan identifies Yoshio Sadakane as the culprit, noting his role as a security guard allowed him to spot the footwear. Because Tae was a minor when she killed Akira, Yoshio could not legally track her details. He attacked girls matching Tae’s description in rage. Yoshio attempts to kill Sonoko, but Megure shields her, suffering a head wound. Bleeding heavily, Megure lectures Yoshio, who confesses he only wanted Tae Aizawa to apologize for Akira’s death. Megure then reveals a past incident involving a girl in a long skirt who acted as a decoy, injuring both her and him. This girl is Midori, Megure’s future wife.
