Roy engages Rayquaza in combat, but Amethio arrives to seize the legendary Pokémon. Rayquaza swiftly defeats Amethio's Ceruledge and attacks the Rising Volt Tacklers until Terapagos briefly enters its Terastal Form to shield them. After Rayquaza departs, Friede and Diana deduce the creature was testing Terapagos' capabilities. Diana subsequently decides to investigate the Six Heroes and Explorers independently, requesting Friede conceal her departure from Liko. The following day, Diana battles Liko and Roy to restore their confidence after their discouraging encounter with Rayquaza. Concurrently, Amethio returns to the Explorers' base, determined to grow stronger.
