Ep. 11: Mitsuha uses fireworks to expose enemy tamers while the Wolf Fang Company prepares for battle

Mitsuha scares off goblins with fireworks, revealing the controlling monster tamer. Inspired by this first real fight in years, the Commander decides the entire Wolf Fang Company will operate as paid mercenaries. As the army nears Wolf Fang city, Mitsuha orders the elimination of officers and tamers, which terrifies the mostly conscripted peasant soldiers of the Empire and allows the freed monsters to cause chaos during their retreat. The Empire’s flying wyvern squad is also destroyed by an armored truck equipped with two roof-mounted 20mm auto-cannons, the vehicle after which Wolf Fang is named. The kingdom refers to Mitsuha by her nickname, Messenger of Lightning. Despite this, the enemy commander refuses to surrender and unveils the Empire's secret weapon: an immense dragon.
