Jan 8, 2023After losing her family in an accident, Mitsuha Yamano is pushed off a cliff by bullies but lands safely in an alternate world. She survives by mimicking her otaku brother’s actions until Collette takes her in. When wolves attack during foraging, Mitsuha suddenly returns to Japan. Realizing she can traverse worlds due to a will that drained an interdimensional being’s power, she retrieves weapons and slays the wolves. The being grants her the ability to heal all injuries and departs, promising to return in a few millennia. Collette’s father compensates Mitsuha with gold for the carcasses. Mitsuha resolves to amass a fortune of 2 billion Yen, approximately 80,000 gold coins, to retire comfortably in both dimensions.
2EP 2Mitsuha prepares for business in the new world by acquiring weapons and capital in Japan.
Jan 15, 2023Mitsuha identifies profitable Japanese products for the new world and, convinced of Lord Claus Von Bozes’ character, plans to build her fortune in the royal capital while promising Collette a return. She teleports to Japan, liquidates her assets, and travels to South America to join the Wolf Fang private military company. There, she purchases firearms and receives training in shooting and self-defense. Mitsuha negotiates an exchange rate between the other world’s gold coins and Earth currency, then researches medieval feudal societies to select high-profit merchandise. Once prepared, she teleports back to the new world and arrives in the village governed by Claus Von Bozes.
3EP 3Mitsuha Feigns Accident to Meet Claus and Negotiates Pearl Sale
Jan 22, 2023Mitsuha tricks Claus’ sons into a carriage collision to secure an audience, gifting him a Swiss Army knife. At dinner, she meets Claus, Iris, Alexis, Theodore, and Beatrice, claiming she fled her country to help her brother inherit and plans to sell a pearl necklace. Iris explains such pearls are national treasures, so she hides the item in exchange for gold to open a capital store. Impressed by Mitsuha’s business acumen, the family comforts her as she cries while thinking of her relatives. Claus subsequently sends her to the capital in his carriage, providing a sponsorship letter and an open invitation to return.
4EP 4Mitsuha opens a shop in the capital and sells Japanese goods to locals.
Jan 29, 2023Mitsuha arrives in the capital and rents a store to sell Japanese items. Initial customers are uninterested in the foreign merchandise but stay for a shampoo demonstration and lunch. They observe showers, gas cookers, and multiple dishes from one pot, leading them to suspect Mitsuha is a witch. She successfully sells shampoo, moisturizer, and jewelry, including complimentary chocolates. Maids from a mansion present the chocolate to chef Marcel, who is impressed and informs his employers, Viscount Reiner and his daughter Adelaide. Intrigued by the claim of fresh fish served despite being a ten-day journey from the ocean, they order Marcel to investigate. Mitsuha realizes she stocked fresh fish incorrectly but sells Marcel a professional chef knife. Marcel reveals Adelaide’s upcoming debutante ball must succeed and asks Mitsuha to provide fresh fish to impress guests. Recognizing significant profit potential, Mitsuha agrees to cater the entire event for an appropriate fee.

Mitsuha trains Marcel on fresh fish recipes and teleports a blindfolded Adelaide to an Earth dressmaker. At the ball, Adelaide dazzles guests in a dress enhanced by Mitsuha’s laptop projector. Mitsuha panics upon seeing Claus and Iris, who arrive with suitors Alexis and Theodore, though Iris is relieved the shop is merely busy. Disaster strikes when guests consume all the fish, forcing Mitsuha to serve desserts to buy Marcel time to prepare French fries. The event succeeds wildly, prompting nobles to demand their sons marry Adelaide immediately. Mitsuha’s cuisine gains fame in noble society as Yamano Style Cuisine.
6EP 6Mitsuha faces threats from a chef and learns about early marriage customs
Feb 12, 2023A chef for Baron Turk demands fresh fish from Mitsuha’s store, threatening her when she refuses to break her special order policy. Iris and Claus intervene, promising to report the incident to the Baron. Iris then takes Mitsuha to their home for dinner, where Beatrice insists Mitsuha cater her debutante ball in two years. Claus enjoys the food and special effects, while Mitsuha lies about her suppliers. She is shocked to learn that girls become engaged at ten and married by fifteen, making her, as a high school graduate, older than the typical bride. Beatrice questions Mitsuha about her ideal husband, revealing Iris’s plot to marry her off. Later, a wanted murderer hides in Mitsuha’s store but is caught by four bounty hunters from the Mercenary Guild. Seeing an opportunity for RPG experiences, Mitsuha asks to hire the mercenaries for a job.
7EP 7Mitsuha introduces modern camping gear and crossbows to mercenaries struggling with banditry.
Feb 19, 2023Mitsuha recruits mercenaries Sven, Zepp, Gritt, and Ilze for hunting after retrieving modern gear from Japan. She observes their financial struggles and proposes supplying the guild with bulk items like lightweight tents and canned soup. A misunderstanding arises when Gritt and Ilze criticize her bikini, mistaking it for nudity since such clothing is unknown. During a boar hunt, Mitsuha uses a pistol but hides the weapon by inserting crossbow bolts into the wounds. She later proves bikinis are normal using a magazine, surprising the group with photographs. Attempting to earn money through art, she teleports famous statues from rock, but finds the results unsatisfactory. She eventually sells them as protective demon statues, feeling unfulfilled by her lack of artistic skill.

Mitsuha arranges a meeting with Sabine and Sahr present. When Nelson behaves lecherously toward Sabine, Sahr confiscates his Royal Warrant and warns other traders against harassing Mitsuha. Nelson is forced into disgraceful retirement. The King is pleased that Mitsuha enabled the prosecution of the corrupt Adler Company, which faces rumors of human trafficking. Mitsuha profits significantly by selling reading glasses to older men with poor vision. A desperate woman subsequently visits Mitsuha seeking assistance.

The antagonists frame Bernd for selling fake food, but chef Marcel confirms its authenticity due to Mitsuha's presence. Iris, Claus, and the King arrive coincidentally, helping expose the rich man, his son, and the chef as the thugs who assaulted Bernd. During a war council, an assassin targets Commander Aiblinger. Mitsuha eliminates the attacker with her pistol, but Alexis suffers critical injuries. Desperate, Mitsuha transports Alexis to Earth for modern surgery and reveals her secret to Wolf Fang’s Commander, hiring his entire army for the conflict. As the army nears Wolf Fang city, Mitsuha orders the elimination of officers and tamers, which terrifies the mostly conscripted peasant soldiers of the Empire and allows the freed monsters to cause chaos during their retreat. The Empire’s flying wyvern squad is also destroyed by an armored truck equipped with two roof-mounted 20mm auto-cannons, the vehicle after which Wolf Fang is named.
