Kasane and Kagero reach BABE, where Kasane mentally connects with Yuito to sever his link. Yuito and his platoon regain consciousness, allowing Luka to access BABE and free Kasane’s group from Togetsu’s captivity. As both teams flee, Yuito fights opponents resembling Kasane, leading him to realize she is also a Design Child. They encounter Kyoka, who hesitates before Kasane urges her to reject Hitoyo Pope’s will. Kyoka admits she is a Design Child created from Pope’s genes to guide Kasane. Kasane empathizes with Kyoka’s identity crisis, encouraging self-acceptance. Kyoka chooses to protect her new allies. The reunited platoons regroup at Kagero’s secret Ark hideout, a lunar immigrant spaceship. Kagero confirms the validity of their shared experiences and reveals his own origins as a lunar immigrant, providing a safe haven for their continued efforts.
