Lala catches up to her and explains the joy of spending time with Hikaru and the others, yet Yuni remains reluctant to prioritize friendship over her mission. Tenjou then confronts Yuni, using a multiplying Notray to capture her and hold her hostage against the group. The Cures manage to collaborate with Yuni to rescue her and defeat the Notray. Afterward, as the girls watch the fireworks together, the rocket receives a transmission from Lala's brother, Lolo.

The other Cures arrive to assist Hikaru, though their attacks initially fail. Hikaru successfully retrieves the Pisces Star Color Princess Pen and damages Garuouga's bracelet, forcing his retreat. Following the revival of the last Star Princess, the combined power of all the pens generates a new pen that transforms Fuwa into a new unicorn form.

Recognizing their shared grief over lost homes, Cure Cosmo forgives Eyeone and awakens her Twinkle Imagination, purifying Eyeone and other warriors. Yuni extends an offer of friendship and a life on Earth with the Precure, but Eyeone declines and departs alone.

Darknest uses the Notraiders' armor to destroy the palace's barrier and immobilize the Alliance, revealing her true identity as the thirteenth Star Princess Ophiuchus. She explains her disillusionment with the universe and her goal to erase it using Fuwa, shocking her subordinates. After revealing she destroyed Garouga's planet, Ophiuchus controls the three attackers. The Curse exhaust their Twinkle Imagination to purify them, allowing Ophiuchus to capture Fuwa and the other Star Princesses before departing with the Star Palace.

Hesitant, the Cures watch as Fuwa uses their Twinkle Imagination to fight back, sacrificing herself to save the universe.
