Ep. 39: Astronaut training and lunar probe recovery mission with perception challenges

Mutta and his peers start their first day at JAXA, attending a presentation by Murasaki regarding the rigorous training required to become certified astronauts. Simultaneously, on the lunar surface, Hibito and his colleague Damian undertake a mission to retrieve a damaged space probe. They face difficulties caused by visual illusions that distort their perception of the environment. During this operation, fellow astronauts Buddy Waters and Karen Jones are busy hosting a television special. While attempting to open a compartment on their lunar buggy, Hibito and Damian become disoriented due to the deceptive landscape. Consequently, they lose their sense of direction and accidentally drive their vehicle into a crater, complicating their recovery efforts.
