Prior to departing the Solar System, the Yamato initiates an assault on Gamilan installations located on Pluto. The objective is to neutralize the threat of planet bombs being fired at Earth. During this operation, the vessel becomes the target of an unexpected strike launched by an enemy secret weapon. In response to this tactical setback, the Yamato crew deploys their pilot squadron to infiltrate and disable the Gamilan base. This mission aims to secure the area and prevent further bombardment while the ship prepares for its next journey.
