Lum’s former fiancé, Rei, travels to Earth with the intention of reclaiming her affection. However, his presence inadvertently captivates every woman on the planet, including Ataru’s mother. Ataru and his friends eventually locate Rei at a restaurant. When they ridicule his inadequate Japanese skills, Rei becomes enraged and pursues the boys and Lum through the streets.
