Okamoto and Hazama travel to America to witness a procedure performed by the celebrated Dr. Risenberg. During their stay, Okamoto reunites with an old acquaintance named Tiara and meets her childhood friend, Johnny, who is a civil rights activist. The situation turns violent when Johnny is assaulted by two African American men. Tiara becomes inadvertently involved in the conflict as she is caught in the crossfire of the attack. This encounter disrupts the medical observation mission and introduces personal history into the unfolding events.
