Aired on November 20, 2015

Johnny suffers from analgesia, a condition preventing him from feeling pain. Hazama and Maiko struggle to determine the cause of this medical anomaly. Their investigation stalls until they encounter Yabu, who is visiting Dr. Risenberg to discuss post-traumatic stress disorder in his patient, Tommy. Hazama learns that Tommy served in the same military platoon as Johnny. Believing this connection provides the key to unlocking the mystery, Hazama becomes convinced that Tommy is the ideal source of information regarding Johnny's condition, though the situation remains uncertain.
