49EP 49Van and allies face Colonel Halford, a Geno Breaker specialist, in a new tactical engagement.
Aug 12, 2000Following a previous defeat, the team recruits Colonel Halford, a former colleague of Major Dan Flyheight who is arrogant yet highly skilled. Halford analyzes the Geno Breaker’s mechanics, noting a 1:05 second recharge window after the first Particle Beam and a 5.33 second charge time. The strategy focuses on disabling the mech’s foot locks to prevent firing. However, Halford overlooks that the Geno Breaker can launch attacks from the air using rear thrusters, eliminating recoil issues. To prepare for this enhanced mobility, Thomas, Irvine, and Van engage in repetitive physical exercises to improve their combat readiness against the specialized enemy.
50EP 50Van upgrades Blade Liger booster while Hiltz targets the base with the red Geno Breaker
Aug 19, 2000Van enhances the Blade Liger booster, making it faster than the unboosted Lightning Saix. Reice discusses the Geno Breaker’s red color, attributing it to Hiltz’s interference with the previous Geno Saurer. Hiltz remains indifferent to Van and Raven, focusing solely on the winner. Colonel Halford informs the pilots that the Geno Breaker recently attacked the Lightning Saix development plant and now targets their base. He instructs Fiona to have Thomas and Irvine disable electrical pulse generators to weaken the Blade Liger’s booster. Additionally, Halford assigns Fiona to the ancient ruins study team, removing her from the Guardian Force Team.
51EP 51Van washes ashore after falling into a river and meets Nichalo
Aug 26, 2000Following his battle with the Geno-Breaker, Van falls from a cliff into a river and washes up on a shore. Irvine, Thomas, Fiona, and Moonbay search for him, the Blade Liger, and Zeke for hours. Fiona senses Van is injured in a valley, where Irvine and Thomas find the Zoids but not Van. Zeke reveals the cockpit opened and Van fell into the water. Van reaches a village that refuses to help him before passing out and having a dream. He wakes to find a boy named Nichalo who patched him up and his Zoid, T-roll. Van quickly teaches Nichalo to pilot T-roll smoothly. Meanwhile, the Imperial Army Division base approaches the Village of Nordinance. Thomas researches the village and discovers that the Republican Army attacked and destroyed it 10 years ago.
52EP 52Van Tests Blade Liger Boosters While Fiona Notices Zeke's Strange Condition
Sep 2, 2000After healing and repairing the Blade Liger, Van conducts a test run that reveals sluggish performance due to worn motion systems and his previous overuse. Dr. D explains the machine is no longer sufficient for Van and introduces semi-functional boosters to enhance its potential. Moonbay attempts to test these boosters on her Gustav, but the attempt fails and causes erratic movement. Dr. D then attaches functional boosters to the Blade Liger for a new test. Prior to this run, Fiona wishes to discuss a strange occurrence involving Zeke, but Van insists on handling the matter after the test is completed.
53EP 53Phantom assassin targets Emperor Rudolph during the Guylos Grand Prix event
Sep 9, 2000Van pilots the Blade Liger at peak performance while Thomas and Van uncover a plot to assassinate Emperor Rudolph at the Guylos Grand Prix. Generals loyal to Prozen hired Phantom, a notorious assassin who never fails, to execute this mission. The Grand Prix draws widespread attention from Planet Zi. Moonbay, also known as the Red Fireball, returns to the competition, defeating all opponents except for Masquerade. Meanwhile, Phantom positions himself at the harbor with his stealth Gun Sniper, preparing to take a shot at the Emperor from the sea, a threat unknown to Van.

Meanwhile, Thomas and Beek search the site of the Geno Breaker's origin for residual radiation, questioning how the Gun Snipers alter their forms by fusing with organoids. Colonel Schubaltz arrives at the Dragon Head Base, allowing Thomas and others to attend a briefing led by Dr. D. Dr. D presents biographies of various adversaries, including Hiltz, Ambient, Reice, Specular, Raven, and Shadow. After this session, Fiona conducts a separate briefing focusing on the top members of the Guardian Force, analyzing the most effective tactics available to combat the Geno-Breaker.
55EP 55Van and Thomas investigate stolen Zoid parts while Irvine faces false accusations.
Sep 23, 2000Following their victory over the Whale King, Van and Thomas uncover a theft of developing Zoid parts. These weapons prove superior against Heldigunners, prompting a Gustav carrying stolen components from both nations to drop cargo. Irvine, piloting the Lightning Saix, intervenes to help but is knocked unconscious. Using his one-eye video piece, he records the general's face for military intelligence. Upon waking, Irvine is falsely accused of stealing the parts, and his Lightning Saix has been taken. Despite his protests, the presiding officer dismisses his claims. Consequently, the group is forced onto a militaristic brown Hammerhead, leaving Irvine to deal with the serious allegations and the loss of his machine amidst the unfolding mystery.
56EP 56Iron Kong Defeated by Cerberus as Trinity Ghost Targets Thomas and Van
Oct 7, 2000An Iron Kong pilot is attacked by three Saber Fangs before a giant three-headed Zoid named Cerberus destroys his machine while its creators laugh. Thomas informs Van and Fiona about the Trinity Ghost, a group targeting Zoid pilots, but the trio is secretly monitored and Thomas is declared guilty. After receiving a threatening message, Thomas meets the attackers alone and suffers severe injuries requiring hospitalization. Van and Fiona visit him, then investigate the incident site where Van discovers a piece of glass. The Trinity Ghost observes them and declares Van guilty. Seeking assistance, Van and Fiona travel to Thomas's former university, a facility dedicated to developing new imperial weapons.
57EP 57Van upgrades the Attack Booster while Hiltz releases the Death Stinger and Raven confronts the team.
Oct 14, 2000Van, Irvine, and Thomas modify the Attack Booster to increase the Blade Liger’s speed against the Geno-Breaker. Meanwhile, Hiltz and Ambient prepare to release an ancient zoid at some cliffs. Fiona detects the heat signature and rushes to the location. Hiltz reports to the Dark Kaizer, during which Raven visits, observes the stars, and vows that one of them will die in their next encounter. Fiona experiences a bad dream before finding her target. Van tests the enhanced booster while Moonbay, Thomas, and Fiona depart in the Pteras and Dibison. The group reaches the cliffs to find Hiltz has unleashed the Death Stinger. Thomas’s Dibison attacks but fails. During a battle between Van, Irvine, and Raven, the Death Stinger fires a Charged Particle Gun beam, severely damaging and crashing the Geno-Breaker. The episode concludes with Shadow overheating from its zoid core attachment, hardening into a stone statue as Raven holds it in tears.
58EP 58Hiltz destroys a town with the Death Stinger while Van and Thomas prepare for space combat
Oct 21, 2000After failing to stop Hiltz, he launches the Death Stinger into orbit aboard the Hammer Kaizer. Fiona and Moonbay monitor the vessel from their Pteras units. Hiltz broadcasts to the Republic, demanding the name of the town below. Major Herman refuses to comply, prompting Hiltz to obliterate the settlement using the Charged Particle Gun. Herman subsequently travels to the Capital to request the Madam President authorize two Storm Sworders for space travel, specifically nominating Van Flyheight and Thomas Schubaltz as pilots. At the ground battlefield, Van, Thomas, and Irvine face attacks from Heldigunners. Van instructs Irvine to assume control of the Storm Sworder so they can depart. Meanwhile, the heavily damaged Geno Breaker remains stranded among cliffs with Shadow trapped in its left claw.
59EP 59Death Stinger Approaches Capital as Empire Sends Aid
Oct 28, 2000The Death Stinger reaches New Helic City after surviving the Hammer Kaizer destruction, traveling at forty km per day toward the Capital. Republic evacuations are nearly complete, leaving only the South and West sectors. Emperor Rudolph assures the president that the Empire’s defense forces, including Colonel Schubaltz's Armored Panzer Division, will assist. Colonel Herman devises a plan to lure the creature into molten magma via strategic bombing. Meanwhile, Van fights Blue Geno Saurer, Reice, and Raven mourns his lost organoid, Shadow. Irvine and Thomas head to the Storm Sworders for the bombing run, but the Death Stinger alters its course to approach the lava directly.
60EP 60Forces retreat to Wendeen Lake to awaken the Ultrasaurus against the Death Stinger threat
Nov 4, 2000Following their retreat from the doomed Capital, Republican and Imperial Forces gather at Wendeen Lake, where the secret weapon Ultrasaurus rests. This heavy carrier zoid is central to a final strategy against the Death Stinger, intended to provide necessary cover and firepower. Colonel Herman acknowledges only a 50% probability that the creature will awaken, but Van persuades him that belief in this slim chance is essential for survival. With six power blocks already functioning at maximum capacity, Moonbay devises a plan to activate the seventh power block. Meanwhile, the Death Stinger, dormant in mountain lava, destroys its enclosure with a Charged Particle Beam and begins its pursuit of the Ultrasaurus.
61EP 61Van and Irvine escape the Death Stinger's beam while the Empire plans to arm the Ultrasaurus with a Gravity Cannon.
Nov 11, 2000After the Ultrasaurus reaches the sea, Van and Irvine fight Helcats until the Death Stinger charges its Charged Particle Beam. Realizing the danger, they flee, but Rosso and Viola rescue them just before impact, delivering them to the Ultrasaurus. Meanwhile, Colonel Herman reviews the creature's status, noting it is vulnerable despite basic armaments. To rectify this, the Empire plans to install a Gravity Cannon at a top-secret Imperial Plant, which would make the Ultrasaurus invincible. A Hammer Head has been deployed for surveillance to support these strategic preparations and ensure the success of the mission to secure the powerful weapon.
62EP 62The crew prepares the massive gravity cannon on the Ultrasaurus while Hiltz sends Sinkers to find them.
Nov 18, 2000The Ultrasaurus arrives in an island region where the gravity cannon is ready for installation. Krueger goes to Guygalos to recover, and Rudolph arrives. The team is surprised by the cannon's size but must equip it quickly to avoid detection. Meanwhile, Hiltz arrives in the islands and dispatches many Sinkers to locate the Ultrasaurus. During a meeting, Dr. D explains that the cannon consists of a gun and power generators, using dense shells that create a black hole upon impact. With only three shells available, one is reserved for a test shot. Karl is appointed to aim and fire the weapon. Van, Thomas, and Irvine check their Zoids, and the gravity cannon is linked to the Ultrasaurus.
63EP 63The team executes a delta formation to trap the Death Stinger for the gravity cannon strike.
Nov 25, 2000The gravity cannon is prepared to engage the Death Stinger, but the enemy must remain stationary to absorb the full impact. The delta formation strategy is adopted, with Van, Irvine, and Thomas departing in their Zoids to position Van at the rear of the triangle. Upon completing the formation, a pyramid shield barrier forms, trapping the Death Stinger. The cannon fires, but the enemy breaks the shield with a Charged Particle Beam just before impact, destroying the shell. The fighters deduce that removing their shields allows more energy to be concentrated on the barrier. The battle resumes, and they eventually reform the delta formation, directing all available energy into the barrier to secure victory.
64EP 64The Ancient Memory (1)
Dec 2, 2000The Death Stinger is revived when Ambient fuses with its remains after being destroyed by the gravity cannon. Reice, piloting Specular, confronts Prozen after being awakened when Fiona opened the gate to Zoids Eve, clearly rejecting the Dark Kaizer. As Prozen prepares to attack, Raven arrives in the Geno Breaker. After a verbal exchange, Prozen sends three Geno Saurers to attack while Reice watches tearfully. Stray gunfire hits the building containing Zoid Eve, causing it to activate and the Death Stinger to glow. Lt. O'Connell flies overhead, sending aerial photos to the Ultrasaurus. Captain Herman notices the Death Stinger is resurrected. Prince Rudolph and Whale Kings are also in the skies; Rudolph sees a picture of the Dark Kaizer and recognizes him as Prozen. Van watches helplessly as the Death Stinger awakens.
67EP 67Van and Raven battle the resurrected Death Saurer in the final episode
Dec 23, 2000In the final episode, Van and Raven fight the resurrected Death Saurer while Hiltz attacks with its Charged Particle Beam. Fiona and Zeke intended to sacrifice themselves to destroy Zoid Eve, which would eliminate all Zoids on Zi. Van stopped them, declaring he could destroy the threat by launching himself from the Ultrasaurus Gravity Cannon. Raven destroyed the energy shield using the Genobreakers charged particle beam. The Liger was fired through a charged particle blast, piercing the Zoid Core of the Death Saurer. This action destroyed both the Zoid and Hiltz. The Zoid Eve retreated underground, and the Death Saurer exploded.
