Akihiko Nomura is a 17-year-old high school student with poor academic performance and a strong passion for motorcycles. His strict, traditional father is concerned about his future and pushes him to pursue higher education. His mother is largely absent, and his only emotional support comes from his younger, supportive sister. Akihiko spends most of his time maintaining and riding his motorcycle, which he is deeply passionate about. After a photo of him from a road trip appears in a motorcyclist magazine, a girl his age writes him a long, romantic letter. Akihiko, who rarely receives letters from girls, responds briefly, expressing his happiness at the gesture.
