Lum and Ten meet a vicious little boy riding a flying bear who came from the sky and is now lost. Ataru and Shinobu identify him as the legendary Kintarou. Ataru convinces Kintarou and his teacher - with his alien classmates in tow - to visit Earth on a field trip. While there, Kintarou leans of the ancient legend of Kintarou from Japanese folklore.
