Niji no Jikan no Ruka

Ruka is a child living in a foster home where she is frequently mocked for having no visitors. After enduring the abuse, she runs away in search of her parents and encounters a teenager fleeing after stealing cigarettes. She hides but leaves behind her favorite stuffed animal, Yohane. When she realizes she forgot it, she returns and finds the boy has cleaned it and left it with a note. Moved by his kindness, she is soon returned to the home and learns her parents are dead. Grieving at the fountain with Yohane, she expresses a wish to see the man again. A rainbow appears, and Yohane pulls her into it. Ruka wakes up in a seedy pool club, where she is harassed before being rescued by a man named Joe. She recognizes him as the boy she met earlier, but when he scolds her, she sees in the mirror that she has become a teenage girl.
