Ep. 5: Science Team Modifies Steam-Gorilla Into Armored Tank For Rescue Mission

Chrome remains imprisoned at Tsukasa's headquarters while Kaseki completes the automobile body known as the Steam-Gorilla. The Science Team departs to rescue him, with Senku unable to convince elderly villagers to stay behind. After camping near a cliff where Kohaku keeps watch and Suika scouts ahead, Senku modifies the Steam-Gorilla into a tank. He constructs Paper-Shields for armor, demonstrating their strength when Kinro’s spear breaks upon impact. Meanwhile, Tsukasa prepares anti-vehicle traps in anticipation of Senku’s potential vehicle construction.
