Thoma brings Chito and Helga to his secret hideout on Kokkuri Island. Chito ventures into the forest for fruit, prompting Thoma to follow her. Helga initially ignores them to paint but eventually trails behind despite Thoma’s warnings. On the mainland, Cooks investigates the Children. An old man, identified as Glass who went missing years ago, dies at the police station. Custody footage shows his deceased mother sitting beside him before vanishing, confusing Cooks. Detective Alice Hollingsworth arrives for a report, but none is ready. Meanwhile, someone resembling an adult Duma raids Cooks’ apartment, searching for research on the mysterious organization GED, whose symbol appeared on Glass’s jumpsuit.
