Ep. 2: Franz seeks funds to save Albert from Luigi Vampa's gang while Peppo intervenes.

Peppo, Albert's companion, is revealed as a member of Luigi Vampa's criminal organization. At a ball, Franz learns of the danger and is confronted by Rocka Buriol, whom Albert had previously pardoned. Rocka demands fifty million ducats for Albert's release. Franz fails to secure the funds and begs the Count for help. As the deadline expires, Vampa's men torture Albert, but Peppo rescues him. The Count and Franz arrive at the lair to save Albert. The Count asks for an introduction to Parisian society and instructs Albert to keep a pocketwatch. He then reveals that Peppo is a transgender boy who crossdresses, shocking Albert.
