Hikuidori

A former fire-fighting samurai, once renowned as "The fire-eating bird," leaves his post and is later invited to join the struggling Shinjo clan, whose fire-fighting unit lacks both funds and members. With his wife's support, he takes on the role of chairman to revive the clan. Alongside a group of unconventional allies, he works to save lives, despite being mocked as the "Boro-Tobi-Gumi." Meanwhile, a series of strange fires, referred to as "foxfires," continue to occur in Edo. The firefighters race to prevent disaster and protect people from the spreading flames.
